We received the 4 sets of shutters and placed on front of house. They really make the house "pop" after we had it repainted. This was a quality product. Delivered exactly the custom length we needed in record time. Really appreciate it. Two comments: Directions on cardboard box say to use a 1/4 drill bit to install screws. Yet the screws were 3/16 width. If we had used the 1/4 drill bit, the screws would not have secured shutters to the house. I used a 5/32 drill bit and screws worked good. Also, the screw tips were not coated black (color of shutter). I spray painted the screw tips so they matched the shutters.

I needed some custom sizes (not available at any of the many local hardware stores) which was special order. I doubled-checked lead time prior to placing the order. Larson Shutter provided an excellent product and met the promised delivery date. There was one small order glitch for which Larson quickly apologized and rectified - the factory sent incorrect mounting fasteners. The replacement correct fasteners arrived within a couple days after I contacted them..

Not the quality (stoutness, weight) as the 20+ years shutters these replaced, but nothing is made as it was back then! The Louvers even have more space between them! Sign of the times! I researched several brands and for the price, promptness of delivery these were the best! Due to our window size, our window size, ours had to be custom made. I do like the bright white! Just installed today. Installation was easy enough on a brick home. Since they were newly installed, unable to comment on durability.
