Paintable Option: If you want to paint the vinyl exterior louvered shutters yourself with your own paint you must choose "Paintable" as the color. If you purchase these shutter in any color other than "049" Paintable" you will not be able to paint the shutters.
NOTE: The Premier 15" standard size shutters do not match the Perfect Shutters Custom Size shutter styles and are not usually used on the same house.

Shutters arrived in good condition, the box didn’t but shutters were fine. They are a bit less sturdy than I thought they’d be, but for the price, they were ok. We installed them in about 30 mins from start to finish. They look great and no one will ever know we didn’t spend a small fortune on “house jewelry”.

When we purchased our new home I hadn’t even noticed that the shutters didn’t span the entire length of the windows. Once I noticed this I couldn’t stand the way they looked. Overall when installed they look great. I did adapt the installation using 1" pressured treated wood behind the installation screws for mechanical support to minimize deformation.
